My Spanish is not perfect or good,

Parents get mad when I talk English at home

Although it’s really not my fault, really.

Wondering if I ever will get better at my language.

Mi familia y yo no somos ricos como otros,

Y tampoco mi familia es la más perfecta.

También somos como el resto del mundo.

Having fights and other types of stuff.

But we all end up getting through it together.

Mi familia siempre me decía que no era como

Las otras niñas por mi nombre.

Pero recuerdo que otras también tienen mi nombre.

Y también me dicen que el nombre no importa

Lo que importa es como soy yo.
