November Newsletter
Dear Friend,
November is coming to a close, and we have so much to be grateful for at 826 MSP. Our students, staff, families, volunteers, board members, teacher partners, guest artists, donors, and community of supporters and readers (that includes YOU!) are all vital in this work.
A couple big highlights this month include:
Our Young Authors' Council is now in its third year! We have 9 returning members and are still accepting applications for the remaining 6 seats. Earlier this month, YAC members went to see a play, She Kills Monsters, at the U of M's Rarig Center and had a wonderful evening! Thanks to returning funder, RBC Wealth Management, and new funders, InCenter Cares and the American Swedish Institute, for your support of this program!
Our Kickstarter in support of Rehumanize Me is nearly 80% funded! We have until December 10 to make our all-or-nothing goal, and we are so grateful to all who have backed and helped amplify this powerful project. Special thanks to Mpls.St.Paul Magazine for helping to get the word out!
With gratitude,
the 826 MSP crew
