Join us to celebrate 826 Day!

Dear Friends,

EXCITING NEWS!

After more than a year of distance learning, we will finally be re-opening our center and returning to full in-person learning this fall! We are kicking off the year with an outdoor open house from 4-7pm on our network’s favorite holiday, 826 Day. (August 26) It will be a drop-in style event with food, a writing workshop with local author, Mariam Mohamed (starting around 5pm), student readings, and a special surprise or two. We invite you to join us!

A few other key details...In light of the continued need for Covid-safety, the whole event will be outdoors--in the green space right next to our youth writing center. We will have a tent for shade, and vegetarian and halal food options will be available.
